TCCA’s intimate house concert series continues its successful run in 2008. Held in private homes requiring limited seating lends to a very intimate ‘salon’ setting. Each concert features a one-hour performance in which you really get to meet the artist. January’s sold-out concert with Robert Theis was funny, moving, and nostalgic as Robert took us on a musical tour through the TV and movie soundtrack themes that inspired him to become a pianist and composer. Our March concert features exciting and vivacious TCCA favorite Tien Hsieh.

Described as a pianist of “artistic instinct and natural charisma,” Stephen Beus is being recognized as one of the most promising pianists of his generation. In 2006 and in four short months, Beus swept first place in three major competitions including the Fellowship of the American Pianists Association.
With a great thank you to Aileen James, we now have a magnificent partnership with the American Pianist Association to have their fellowship competition winners open each concert season. You’ll be treated to some of the newest and hottest young pianists in the world today. Former APA fellowship winners and TCCA guest artists have included Stephen Prutsman, Jim Giles, Anthony Molinaro, and Brian Ganz. TCCA is honored to have this opportunity.
